Smile Candle - Pom Pom
Coloured in green and red, Smile Candle is designed in the shape of a moon gate, a traditional architectural element in Chinese gardens which symbolises good fortune. It is crafted to add a contemporary cool to any space as a decorative piece. Even without burning, the candle gives off subtle scents to bring waves of positive emotions that uplift us into a state of relaxation.
In pursuit of both quality and craftsmanship, Smile Candles are expertly hand-poured in Hong Kong by skilled artisans. We use lead-free cotton wicks and premium fragrance oils.

Some may wonder, why design a smile that disappears? Smile Candle is born from the idea that true happiness isn’t necessarily being happy all the time. Our handwritten Chinese character「笑」(Smile) and double smiley faces (symbolising ups and downs in life) gradually disappear and turn into calming glow as the candle burns and melts. 'Smile' does not disappear but simply changes its form of existence, into 'dusts of smile' which evaporate and fill the space with joy. It reminds the users that whilst smiles come and go, we too can be a source of illumination in our lives.
Owners of this artisanal hand-poured candle can try a 15-20 minute candlelight meditation by lighting it on a heat-resistant surface, gently resting their gaze on the gradually disappearing「笑」and observing their thoughts and emotions. Blow out the candle after meditation. *Always speak with your healthcare professional before starting any new practice.*
